This summer, we’re inviting creative minds to explore the Garagen-Campus in a unique way: over the course of five days, we’ll create a large-scale Wimmelbild – a colorful, detailed illustration that captures the real, imagined, and fantastical aspects of this special place.

What to Expect

Together with illustrator and art educator Maxi Martha Hötzeldt, you’ll develop characters, scenes, and ideas that tell the story of the Garagen-Campus from your perspective – playful, quirky, poetic, or completely out there.
The workshop is open to everyone who enjoys drawing, making, or experimenting. No prior experience needed.

A glimpse into the workshop structure:

Day 1: Getting to know each other, exploring the site, collecting ideas & Creating characters and scenes
Day 2: Drawing, painting, collaging – with a variety of materials & Start bringing all individual pieces together into one large image
Day 3: Final touches, signing the artwork & celebrating together

Along the way: creative warm-ups, playful exercises, room for your own ideas – and plenty of surprises.

What to Bring

Curiosity, a willingness to create together, and maybe your favorite pen – everything else will be provided.

What We’ll Create

A vibrant, collaborative artwork full of stories, details, and imagination – developed by you, composed together, and later digitally finalized. The result: a one-of-a-kind image of the Garagen-Campus, like you’ve never seen it before.
