Creativity Condos provide affordable living space on the site or in the immediate vicinity. In contrast to rather shorter stays in hotels, hostels and vacation apartments or even longer-term tenancies, the use of these premises is intended for the duration of projects, residencies, temporary learning and teaching assignments, exchange programs and the like, i.e. from four weeks to six months. In this respect, in addition to sleeping accommodations and a bathroom, cooking facilities are also required. The Creativity Condos should be furnished and equipped comparable to a vacation apartment. The furnishings should be simple and functional; low-threshold refurbished properties appear to be more suitable in this context, especially if they also encourage the residents to meet, for example in common rooms. Either the Creativity Condos have an additional studio or work space or this is made available elsewhere on the Garage Campus.
