The team behind the Garage-Campus
The development of the Garage-Campus as part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 is coordinated by a small core team – together with many dedicated individuals who contribute their ideas, experiences, and perspectives. Whether voluntarily, creatively, technically, or organizationally: the campus is being created as a community project.

Jenny Wittig
Jenny Wittig comes from an event management background and has been head of the Garage-Campus department at CVAG since February. She is the main point of contact for all matters related to space requests, creative ideas, and organizational questions. She is responsible for rental management and ensures that projects find the right space to unfold.

Katharina von Storch
Katharina has already implemented numerous subcultural projects and contributes her experience primarily in project management and team communication. She studied psychology in Heidelberg and Chemnitz and has a passionate interest in designing both interior and exterior spaces. With a big heart for subculture and cultural development, she has long since lost her heart to Chemnitz.

Tina Winkel
Tina is a trained event manager, cultural studies scholar, and cultural & media educator. Since her first visit to a European Capital of Culture in 2009, the topic has become her passion. She works at Chemnitz European Capital of Culture gGmbH 2025 and supports the development of the Garage-Campus as an intervention space for the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 from there.
